Our 4 Days/Nights in Paradise

We just returned from a truly wonderful and relaxing vacation in Cabo, Puerto Los Cabos to be exact.    This was our first trip to Mexico as Frank has been thoroughly convinced that we could be kidnapped by a cartel and would never see our families again.   He still had some slight concerns which rubbed off on me just a bit since right after landed we were bombarded with all these offers for "free" rides to go visit a different resort to hear about a time share as we also earned a "discount" on golf.  I'm a bit embarrassed to share that we were fooled into paying for one of these too good to be true deals.  I have no excuse other that to say I am gullible, which is not a good thing in a traveler to a different country!  Ha ha!  When we got to the resort they too hit us up for a time share, this time giving us a much better deal than what we had agreed to at the airport and we were just going to listen to a 90 minute presentation.  Lies... all lies.  It was FOUR hours!  We both agreed after talking about it that the deal they offered was not a bad deal, but it was not good for us.  But this was the only thing about the trip that was anything less than fantastic.  And now we know... NEVER agree to those things... we learned something.  :)  Our days in Cabo were beautiful... the ocean waves were calm one minute and thunderous the next making the load boom as they hit the shore.  We found lots of neat rocks... yes, rocks as opposed to shells!  We had fun chasing after them after a wave brought them in before the next would carry it back out.  One morning we went to see the sun rise and walked along the empty beach, except for the one lady running who took our picture.  We enjoyed a couples massage at the spa, Frank played a round of golf at a beautiful course with holes overlooking the ocean, we ate delicious food, got lots of sleep and did some fun shopping at the variety of shops selling tourist treasures!  It was everything you need in a vacation and more and just what we needed... Time to enjoy being together just he and I.  We can't wait to go back!  I guess we will see if we end up returning here or if our travels in the future take us somewhere new again.
